Yoga Styles: Yin Yoga
Stillness in the body, steadiness of breath, calmness of the mind.
Yin Yoga is a way to balance the strong and heated yang practice like Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa or Vinyasa flow. It is ruled by the moon energy and enhances coolness and calmness in body and mind. In this passive and meditative yoga style poses are hold for a time period of one to ten minutes to fully access the yin tissues like joints and fascia.
The stillness of the body experienced in this yoga practice creates stillness of the mind and ultimately helps to realize our true nature.
Our Yin Yoga training is a five days course and we will work about 8-10 hours together every day.
This course is embedded in the YACEP program of Yoga Alliance and you can add the 50 hours of this course to your continuous education hours.

In this course you will become familiar with the concept of Yin Yoga, a complementary practice to all the yang Yoga styles and highly recommended especially for those of you who practice Ashtanga Vinyasa to balance your yin and yang energy.
After this Yin Yoga course you will be able to practice and teach 26 yin asanas with variations and modifications. We all have different bodies and enter poses in different ways. Therefore, the use of props like blogs, bolsters, cushions and blankets is one key element of a safe and effective Yin Yoga practice.
We will teach you the fundamentals of Yin Yoga, its origin, development and benefits. We will help you to understand the differences between yang and yin Yoga as well as yin and yang tissues.
In this 50 hours Yin Yoga training in Bali introduce you to the meridian system and how certain poses can improve the function of different organs in your body. The meridian system according to traditional Chinese Medicine

In the yogic anatomy classes of our Yin Yoga course in Bali we teach you the concepts of nadis, prana koshas, pancha koshas and the sariras.
