Did you know that 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra are as restorative as 4 hours of deep sleep?

Yoga Nidra, also called the ‘Yogic Sleep’ is a state where the Yogi is neither completely asleep nor fully awake – a conscious, dynamic psychic sleep.

This ancient meditation technique has the power to take you to the deepest levels of physical and mental relaxation. Yoga Nidra acts as a connection between the Antaranga – the internal – and the Bahiranga – the external – and allows absolute restfulness. In our Yoga Nidra Yoga Teacher Training we would like to introduce you to the art of Yoga Nidra, its self-healing properties in dissolving physical, emotional and mental blockages and how we can use it to prevent stress-related diseases like burn-out.

This course is embedded in the YACEP program of Yoga Alliance and you can add the 50 hours of this course to your continuous education hours.

Program Highlights

Our 50 hours Yoga Nidra Yoga Teacher Training in Bali is a five days course where you will dive into the practice and theory of Yoga Nidra. You will learn how to use this meditation technique in your own practice and how to guide others. If you are already familiar with the basics of Yoga Nidra, would like get further insights and get to know the last two of the five Yoga Nidra techniques, we offer a special 50 Hours Advanced Yoga Nidra Teacher Training. There are different Yoga Nidra Techniques with different areas of focus and benefits. According to the ancient teachings five techniques exist. In this training we will introduce you to the first three styles and include special Yoga Nidra for kids, Yoga Nidra to activate the chakras and the healing art of Yoga Nidra.

Katharina will help you to understand how the nervous and cardiovascular system work and how Yoga Nidra affects with them.

You will learn how to teach Yoga Nidra classes, we will answer questions like

~ How to prepare a Yoga Nidra class
~ How to teach Yoga Nidra to different age groups
~ How to write your own Yoga Nidra Script
~ What is the right tone of voice
~ How to include music
~ How to create positive & favorable environment for Yoga Nidra

And you get the opportunity to start teaching right from the beginning of the course.


Eligibility Criteria

Before joining Anandam Yoga School’s 50 hours Yoga Nidra Training in Indonesia Course, you have to fulfill this eligibility criteria.

  • The minimum age to join this course is 18 and the maximum age is 75 years. If you are older than 75 please provide a medical certificate. Your safety is important for us!
  • You should be able to speak, read and write basic English as this course in conducted in English.
  • You have to be open minded and interested to learn ancient teachings and the traditional way of Yoga.
  • You have to provide a medical certificate if you are going through any treatment or have any injuries.
  • If you skip classes, abuse drugs or behave unethically during the course, you will not be allowed to continue and the course fee will not be refunded.

The time schedule is not fixed and can change according to location, teacher availability, weather conditions and general situation.

  • 07:30 to 07:45 am Shatkarma
  • 07:45 to 09:15 am Yoga asana practice
  • 09:15 to 10:15 am Yoga Nidra practice
  • 10:15 to 11:15 am Breakfast
  • 11:15 to 12:15 pm Yoga Nidra theory
  • 12:15 to 01:15 pm Self study
  • 01:15 to 02:30 pm Lunch
  • 02:30 to 03:30 pm Yogic anatomy / anatomy and physiology
  • 03:30 to 04:30 pm Tea break
  • 04:30 to 04:45 pm Mantra chanting
  • 04:45 to 06:45 pm Yoga Nidra Teaching practice and Pranayama
  • 07:00 to 08:00 pm Dinner
  • 08:00 to 10:00 pm Self study
