We designed this yoga course to inspire and challenge your teaching and your own practice. We are going deeper into Yoga philosophy to give you the keys to continue with your spiritual development on a deeper level.  We put a special focus on Ashtanga Vinyasa, arm balancing and the ancient science of Ayurveda.

Program Highlights

In this 300 hours Yoga teacher training you will learn more about advanced Yoga asanas and their alignment. You will get new insights to implement into your own teachings and grow on your path as a teacher and student. To ensure the quality of our course and to help you track your progress we will have weekly quizzes, one final written exam and a practical exam in which you are going to teach a Yoga class.

The Samadhi Pada, Sadhana Pada, Vibhuti Pada and Kaivalya Pada - We cover the four chapters of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras in this course offering you a greater understanding of his teachings and highlight their importance in our daily life.

We will also discuss the 18 chapters of the Bhagvad Gita. We give you more information about the three secrets of the Bhagvad Gita and you will realize that this scripture and its teachings are now as relevant as it was when it was written.

We will teach you how to use the knowledge of these important Yoga scripture in your everyday life, especially in particularly hard or over exciting times to keep the equanimity of your mind, no matter the external circumstances.

Two times a day you are going to practice asana. Traditional Hatha Yoga, the Primary series of Ashtanga Vinyasa, special arm balancing classes, as well as Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga. Use these classes to focus on your own Yoga practice.

In the asana alignment classes we will break down the more advanced poses from Ashtanga Vinyasa and arm balancing poses. You will learn their right alignment and how to use props to support their effects on your physical, astral and mental body.

We will have a daily pranayama practice where we practice different pranayama techniques. You will experience their effects and will understand of how to include them into your Yoga classes. We will introduce you to the concept of kumbhaka – breath retention. You will learn different variations of each pranayama, and get familiar with the pranayama techniques mentioned in the Hatha Yoga scriptures.

Every day we will start with a meditation session. You will learn different meditation techniques and how to have an effective meditation practice.  You will learn the importance of meditation in the yogic life, the physical, mental and spiritual benefits and which asanas are best to prepare your body for long meditations.

Ayurveda is the Science of Life. It is India's ancient health system and one of the oldest medical systems in the world. Ayurveda is the protection of health and prevention of diseases by balancing body, mind, soul and environment. We will teach you the foundation of Ayurveda with the five elements end three doshas as key aspects. Our main focus will be on the ayurvedic diet and how it is used to prevent and treat different diseases.

You will learn shatkarma according to the Hatha Yoga Scriptures and practice these purification techniques every day.

How does Yoga help to reduce menstrual pain? How are our hormonal glands connected to the chakras? What are the effects of Pranayama on our immunity?

Only a few questions we are going to answer in the anatomy and physiology classes. To understand how the human body benefits from asana, pranayama and meditation we would like to give you a profound understanding of the 11 body systems and how they work together.

Paleohori Camp

In the Paleohori camp you can bring your own tent - 1000 USD

The Paleohori camp is equipped with autonomous wc facilities, showers with hot water. During your breaks and after a long day of practice you can rest in the shadow under the trees with swings and hammocks.

 

Foodpath Guesthouse

The Foodpath Guesthouse has private parking and a vegetable garden. Here you can also choose between three different accommodation options

1. Shared room for three people (A/C, small kitchen, table and bathroom) - 1600 USD

2. Shared Double room (Attached bathroom A/C) - 1800 USD

3. Single room (Attached bathroom A/C) - 2000 USD

Eligibility Criteria

Before joining Anandam Yoga School’s 300 Hours Yoga Teacher Training in Greece Course, you have to fulfill this eligibility criteria.

  • A completed 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training with a Yoga Alliance registered Yoga School (RYS) is mandatory to join this 300 hours online Yoga Teacher Training.
  • The minimum age to join this course is 18 and the maximum age is 65 years. If you are older than 65 please provide a medical certificate. Your safety is important for us!
  • You should be able to speak, read and write basic English as this course in conducted in English.
  • You have to be open minded and interested to learn ancient teachings and the traditional way of Yoga.
  • You have to provide a medical certificate if you are going through any treatment or have any injuries.
  • If you skip classes, abuse drugs or behave unethically during the course, you will not be allowed to continue and the course fee will not be refunded.
  • We sincerely ask you to listen to your body and limits to make this teacher training a great experience for you.

  • 01:00 to 02:00 pm Lunch
  • 02:00 to 02:30 pm Yoga Nidra / Chakra Meditation
  • 02:30 to 03:30 pm Rest
  • 03:30 to 04:30 pm Anatomy and physiology / Ayurveda / Yoga theory
  • 04:30 to 06:00 pm Asana Practice (Ashtanga / Arm Balance)
  • 06:00 to 07:00 pm Pranayama / Mantra Chanting
  • 07:30 pm - 08:30 pm Dinner
  • 08:30 to 10:00 pm Self study

  • You can share a room with two other Yogis at foodpath guesthouse. The room is equipped with A/C, small kitchen, table and bathroom. Three vegetarian meals per day are included in the price.

  • For more privacy choose the single room at foodpath guesthouse. The room is equipped with A/C and bathroom. Three vegetarian meals per day are included in the price.
