Shatkarma are six ancient cleansing techniques that purify our body and mind. You will get the chance to learn all these ancient techniques in theory and to try out Jala Neti, Kapalbhati and Nauli kriyas in safe way and to have an experience of these ancient purification techniques.

Food plays an important role in our life. The food we take in our daily life identifies the state of our mind. Normally we choose food according to our state of mind. Ancient Yogis were already aware of that so they divided the food in certain categories to help us choose the food to stay focused and achieve the higher state of consciousness while practicing Yoga.

That’s why in this 200 hour Yoga teacher training in Portugal you will learn more about the Yogic diet to keep you focused, to achieve better results in your practices and to stay healthy and happy.
 

In this part of the yoga training you will learn the basics of the Indian Ancient Healing System Ayurveda. Ayurveda is the knowledge of life, over 5000 years old and one of the oldest medical system on earth. You will learn more about the five elements, he three doshas, how to find your dosha and how to use Ayurveda knowledge in your daily life.


Eligibility Criteria

Before joining Anandam Yoga School’s 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training in Portugal Course, you have to fulfill this eligibility criteria.

  • The minimum age to join this course is 18 and the maximum age is 65 years. If you are older than 65 please provide a medical certificate. Your safety is important for us!
  • You should be able to speak, read and write basic English as this course is conducted in English.
  • You have to be open minded and interested to learn the ancient teachings and the traditional way of Yoga.
  • If you are pregnant please provide a medical certificate.
  • You must be physically and mentally healthy and fit.
  • You have to provide a medical certificate if you are going through any treatment or have any major injuries.
  • If you skip classes, abuse drugs or behave unethically during the course, you will not be allowed to continue and the course fee will not be refunded.
